Urban parks
Heritage Heights Park: Includes park benches and picnic area with tables. Equipped with tennis courts available for public use. Located in the northeast portion of Yorkton on McBurney Drive.
Knights of Columbus Park: Includes park benches and picnic area with tables. Equipped with tennis courts available for public use. Located on Circlebrooke Drive, in the southwest of Yorkton.
Patrick's Park: Includes park benches and picnic area with tables. Located on King Street West, southwest side of Yorkton.
Silver Heights Water Park and Playground: Includes park benches and picnic area with tables. Also includes children's water park and tennis court available for public use. Located in the southwest of Yorkton, on Sunset Drive North.
Weinmaster Park: Includes park benches and picnic area with tables, and plenty of grass for games. The spray park is located off Morrison Drive in Weinmaster Park, in northeast Yorkton. The park is fully automated with timers installed to prevent use outside of daytime hours and is operational during the summer months from mid-morning through early to mid-evening. Lights will not be provided at the spray park as we do not want to encourage use as night.
York Lake Regional Park
York Lake Regional Park is located a few kilometres south of Yorkton, and is easily accessible from Highway 10 South, and from Highways 9 and 16 by way of Queen Street.
The park is open from the May long weekend to the end of September.
Stretching along the east shore of York Lake, the park features an 18-hole golf course; a four-diamond slowpitch complex including two lighted fields, where slowpitch is played every day of the week; the Yorkton Canoe and Kayak Club facilities; the Saskatchewan Wildlife Trap and Skeet Club where shoots are held every Tuesday during the summer; and Kin Point, which includes barbecue and picnic sites, a playground, swimming and shower facilities, a canteen, horseshoe pits and walking trails.
The park has a campground for tenting and trailers, offering all the amenities for travellers.
The lake is ideal for boating and sailing, and has boat launch facilities.

Provincial parks
Good Spirit Lake
One of the province's best natural beaches awaits you at the south end of Good Spirit Lake, just 55 km northwest of Yorkton. The shallow shores are great for kids and the sand dunes provide exploring adventures.
The park has 293 camping sites available consisting of electric, non-electric, and wheelchair accessible sites.
Food service is available at the beach, at the golf clubhouse and at the four season restaurant at Spiritwood Villas Inn just outside the park gates. Dining, accommodation, golf and groceries are available adjacent to the park at Spiritwood Acres.
The park maintains 18 km of cross country ski trails for all levels of skiers. Snowmobile trails and ice fishing round out the winter attractions. For more information call 306-792-4750.
Touchwood Hills Post
This site depicts the role of the Hudson's Bay Company fur trade post in the transport and provisioning network of the later fur trade era of 1849 to the 1870s.
From the 1880s to 1909 it served incoming settlers. This site lies 135 km west of Yorkton. For more information call 306-332-3215.
Duck Mountain
In the midst of the aspen forest of the rolling Duck Mountain highlands in east central Saskatchewan lies beautiful Madge Lake.
Enjoy golfing, fishing and beach activities in addition to the luxury of a resort lodge, tennis courts and more. This park is just 115 km from Yorkton and features 515 camping sites, with electric, non-electric, group and overflow sites available.
Duck Mountain Lodge is suited for both business and holiday travelers, and conference facilities are available. Food services include dining at Duck Mountain Lodge, groceries at Pickerel Point, concessions, and an ice cream parlour.
Winter attractions include 80 km of snowmobile trails, marked and groomed cross country ski trails, and downhill skiing. For more info call the park office at 306-542-4111.
Greenwater Lake
This year-round resort is located in a rolling forested area, where you can camp or rent deluxe cabins. Many types of wildlife inhabit the area including elk, moose, deer, beaver, black bear and over 200 species of birds.
The park lies 223 km northwest of Yorkton and features a beach, fishing, golfing, tennis, hiking and boating. Boat rentals are available. Camping facilities consist of 267 sites including electric, non-electric, group and overflow sites. The park also offers cabins, some winterized and equipped with fireplaces. Conference facilities are available.
Food services in the park include licensed dining at Fisherman's Cove, fast food and a grocery/supply store.
Winter attractions include 32 km of cross country skiing trails, groomed snowmobile trails, ice fishing and outdoor skating. For more information call 306-278-3515.
